Sunshine Place Mission
Sunshine Place provides comprehensive services that support essential needs through community engagement and partnerships. Through our own programs and onsite partner agencies, we provide one location where families and individuals in Sun Prairie and eastern Dane County can access resources and opportunities for help with food, housing, and other barriers to stability.
Food
One in 10 people and 1 in 6 children face hunger in Wisconsin. Sunshine Place strives to enhance the health of our neighbors in need with supplemental food and meals. We believe no one should have to sacrifice nutrition or go hungry and we are here to help.

Child Outreach
Sunshine Place shines hope and help to children facing hardships. We deliver meals, clothing, beds, holiday gifts, and backpacks with school supplies to children who might otherwise go without. Our onsite partner agencies also provide comprehensive services to help families reach goals for stability and access opportunities to help them thrive.

Community members facing hardship can access legal assistance through the Sunshine Legal Clinic, find out about important community resources in the Sunshine Resource Lobby, and attend free classes in ESL and other topics from our volunteers and community partners. Additional services can be found through our onsite partners, who assist with a variety of essential needs.
